4-CPA is a phenoxy plant growth regulator with auxin activity, mainly used to prevent blossom and fruit drop, inhibit rooting of legume plants, promote fruit set, induce seedless fruit, and have the role of ripening growth.
Application of P-Chlorophenoxyacetic Acid 4-CPA
- 4-CPA acts as a plant growth regulator, it can be absorbed by plants through roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits.
- 4-CPA can be used to prevent flowering and fruit drop by spraying flowers, inhibit rooting in beans, promote fruit set and induce the formation of seedless fruits.
- 4-CPA can also be used for ripening and fruit thinning.
