Sorbitan Tristearate, also known as Span 65, is a white to slightly yellow soft solid which is insoluble in water. As a non-ionic surfactant, it is used as an emulsifier in food, medicine, etc. It is also used in plastic lubrication, industrial defoaming and paint thickening.
