What is Behentrimonium Chloride/Docosyltrimethylammonium chloride?
Behentrimonium chloride(as known as Docosyltrimethylammonium chloride) is white flake or gray flake, easily soluble in water, in the moist air, easy to wet, decomposition of hydrogen chloride and magnesium oxide at high temperatures. Used for making metal magnesium, disinfectant, fire extinguishing agent, frozen brine, ceramics, and used in filling fabrics, paper making, etc.; curing agent; nutritional enhancer; taste agent (with magnesium sulfate, salt, calcium hydrogen phosphate, calcium sulfate, etc.
Applications:
Docosyltrimethylammonium chloride is used in shampoo, hairdressing gel, hair conditioner and other hair care products.
Behentrimonium Chloride is used in hair care products as an ingredient in conditioners and shampoos. It improves wet and dry combability and glossiness of hair, making it softer and more manageable.
