Products Description
Chlorsulfuron is an ultra-high activity, systemic, and highly effective sulfonylurea herbicide. It is absorbed by the leaves or roots of weeds and then translocated throughout the plant. It works by inhibiting the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is crucial for the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids such as valine and leucine. This inhibition stops cell division, leading to chlorosis (loss of green color), wilting, and eventually the death of the plant.
