Properties:
Propylene glycol butyl ether (PNB) is a colorless liquid with a peculiar odor. It is soluble in water, ethanol and ether solvents, but insoluble in non-polar solvents such as petroleum ether and aliphatic hydrocarbons. It is relatively stable at room temperature, but may burn when exposed to high temperatures, open flames or oxidizers.
