Nitrilotriacetic Acid (NTA) is a white crystalline powder.It has a relatively low solubility in water, but its solubility can be increased by adjusting the pH of the solution. NTA has strong chelating ability. It can form stable complexes with many metal ions, such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and copper. It is widely used in various industrial fields, especially detergents, anti-scaling agents and scale removers.
