Sec-Butyl Acetate (SBAC), colorless liquid, has a fruit-like aroma, insoluble in water, can be mixed in ethanol, ethyl ether and other organic solvents. The main use is used as solvent, chemical reagent, flavoring.

Application of sec-Butyl Acetate Chemical Solvent:
(1) Used as coating solvent:The properties of sec-Butyl Acetate are similar to those of n-butyl acetate and isobutyl acetate. It has good solubility for many substances, and can be used to replace butyl acetate and isobutyl acetate to manufacture nitro paints, acrylic coatings and polyurethane coatings and other solvents. It can also be used as a quick-drying agent for photographic materials. In metal finishes, butyl acetate can be used to dissolve cellulose acetate butyrate.
(2) Secbutyl Acetate is used as a solvent in the manufacture of synthetic resins.
(3) SBAC is used as a solvent in the process of making paint curing agents.
(4) Used as a diluent, an ideal ingredient for reducing costs, and as a toxic diluent in courses such as tannas, banana oil, etc.
(5) Used as a solvent in making adhesives.
