PCE Perchloroethylene is a colorless liquid. It is insoluble in water and miscible in most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, chloroform, etc. It is mainly used as organic solvent, dry cleaning agent, but also can be used as adhesive solvent, metal degreasing solvent, desiccant, paint stripping agent, insect repellent, fat extractor, and also can be used in organic synthesis.
Application of 99.9% Perchloroethylene:
1.Perchloroethylene is widely used, mainly as a solvent for degreasing metals and as an insect repellent.
2. Widely used as a dry cleaning agent for natural and synthetic fibers. Can also be used as metal degreasing detergent, general solvent and organic synthesis intermediates.
3. Used as a standard substance for chromatographic analysis.
4. Used as insect repellent and fat extractant for adhesives and organic synthesis.
