Products Description
Polypropylene Glycol (PPG), also known as Poly(propylene glycol) , is a polyether polymer material polymerized from propylene glycol monomers. PPG can be used as a plasticizer for plastics, improve the flexibility and machinability of plastics, and is widely used in the processing of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and other plastics. PPG can be used as the raw material of fiber, through spinning process to prepare polypropylene glycol fiber, this fiber has good flexibility and wear resistance, suitable for textiles, nonwovens, filter materials and so on. PPG is used as a base material in the cosmetics industry to prepare toner, lotion and other products, which can improve the stability and moisturizing performance of cosmetics and improve skin feel.
Applications：
Mainly used in the production of polyester, polyester resin, moisture absorbent, plasticizer, surfactant, synthetic fiber, cosmetics, and explosives. Pure polypropylene plycol is also used as a solvent for dyes/inks, antifreeze agent for engine formulation, gas dehydrating agent, resin manufacturing, and as a wetting agent for glass paper, fibers, leather, and adhesives. It can produce synthetic resin PET, fiber grade PET (polyester fiber), and bottle grade PET for making mineral water bottles, etc. PPG can also produce alkyd resin, formaldehyde, etc., and is also used as an antifreeze agent. In addition to being used as an antifreeze for automobiles, it is also used for the transportation of industrial cooling capacity and is generally referred to as a refrigerant carrier.
