2-Tert-Butoxyethanol is a colourless transparent liquid with a minty aroma. It is miscible with most organic solvents, soluble in amino, nitro, alkyd and acrylic resins, and miscible with water at room temperature. Ethylene glycol tert-butyl ether is stable and not easy to decompose under conventional conditions. It has unique hydrophilic nature and dissolution and fusion ability, and can participate in a variety of chemical reactions.
