Ethylene glycol monostearate/EGDS is a 93% highly efficient pearling agent, use in liquid washing products as pearling agent, and will enhance the viscosity of product. Suitable to be used in thermal formulating technology.
Uses:
1.Ethylene glycol monostearate is used as an emulsifier, dispersant and solubilizer in cosmetics. It can produce a pearlescent effect, increase product viscosity, and has functions of moisturizing skin, nourishing hair and anti-static. It is often used in shampoos, bath lotions, skin creams and high-end liquid detergents.
2. In the textile industry, it can be used as a softener and antistatic agent to improve the hand feel and antistatic properties of textiles.
3. EGMS can be used as a lubricant and release agent in the plastic industry to improve the processing performance of plastics and prevent products from sticking to molds.
4. 2-Hydroxyethyl stearate is also used in the production of pharmaceuticals, as a pearlescent dispersant, solubilizer and lubricant. In the metal processing and detergent industries, it can be used as a detergent and emulsifier.
