Solubility: It has good solubility in a variety of organic and inorganic substances. It is miscible with water, ethers, esters, ketones, and aromatic compounds. It can dissolve unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbons, but hardly dissolves saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons. It can dissolve acrylonitrile copolymers, vinyl resins, cellulose derivatives, styrene resins, linear polyester resins, etc.
