Products Description
High Purity Mixed Xylene, chemical formula C8H10, a mixture of xylene or xylene aromatic hydrocarbons, consists of a benzene ring and two methyl groups in different positions. High Purity Mixed Xylene has three isomers: o-xylene (CAS No. 95-47-6), o-xylene (CAS No. 108-38-3), and p-xylene (CAS No. 106-42-3). The three isomers of xylene are C8H10 or the similar structural formula C6H4(CH3)2. In industry, xylene refers to a mixture of these three isomers.
Mixed Xylene is a starting material for petrochemical plants in the manufacture of Paraxylene. It can also be used to boost the value in gasoline, as well as a solvent for coating substances, insecticides, paint, adhesive and etc.
Application of High Quality 99% Mixed Xylene C8h10 Solvent
1) Solvent grade Mixed Xylene: Mainly used as raw materials for dyes, organic pigments, perfumes, plasticizers, pharmaceuticals, etc., as well as general-purpose solvents for paints, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals.
2) Isomer grade Mixed Xylene: Used as raw material for the production of various o-xylene, m-xylene and p-xylene products. Since m-xylene and p-xylene have similar b.p. differences, m-xylene products are produced by distillation, while m-xylene and p-xylene products are produced by adsorption equipment.
