Industrial Grade Isomeric mixed xylene 99% liquid is a mixture of o-xylene, m-xylene and p-xylene.Mixed xylene has a low boiling point, low vapor pressure and low freezing point, so it is an excellent solvent and fuel additive. Mixed xylene has excellent solubility properties and can dissolve a variety of organic substances, such as grease, resin, rubber, etc., so it is widely used as a solvent. In addition, mixed xylene can be used as a fuel additive, which can improve the calorific value and combustion efficiency of fuel and reduce pollution.
Applications
Mixed xylene is used as solvent for paint and pesticide. It is also a raw material for orthoxylene (phthalic anhydride), metaxylene (isophthalic acid), paraxylene (terephthalic acid) and ethylbenzene (styrene monomer).
