Fungicide: 4 chlorophenoxyacetic acid has strong fungicidal and herbicidal properties and can be used in agriculture and horticulture to control weeds and diseases.
Herbicide: Can be used to eliminate weeds in wastelands, farmlands, orchards, and other vegetative areas.
Wood preservative: Effective against decay and fungal infections, suitable for wood preservation treatments.
Application of 4-CPA
4-Chlorophenoxyacetic Acid 4-CPA is used to prevent abscission of bloom and fruit, inhibit rooting of beans, promote fruit set, and induce the formation of seedless fruit. Also used for ripening and fruit thinning. It performs better when used in combination with 0.1% monopotassium phosphate. It also has an herbicidal effect at high dosages.
