Ethyl Alcohol is an organic compound with the structural formula CH3CH2OH or C2H5OH and the molecular formula c2h6o, commonly known as alcohol.Ethyl Alcohol is widely used in the manufacture of acetic acid, beverages, flavors, dyes and fuels. In medical treatment, 70% - 75% ethanol is also commonly used as disinfectant, which is widely used in national defense chemical industry, medical and health care, food industry, industrial and agricultural production.
Applications of Ethyl Alcohol:
1. Preservatives and medicinal solvents
It is used in medical wipes, most commonly in antibacterial hand washing gels, as a bactericidal agent with bactericidal and antifungal properties.
2.Raw material
Ethanol is an important industrial raw material, widely used as a raw material for other organic compounds, such as ethyl halide, ethyl ester, diethyl ether, acetic acid and ethylamine.
3.Solvent
