Glutaric acid is a dicarboxylic acid with a carboxylic acid functional group at either end of the molecular chain. Glutaric acid is a white or off-white crystal, usually containing 1 mol of water of crystallization. It is soluble in water, ethanol, ether and chlorofluorocarbons. Mainly used as raw material of Glutaric Anhydride.
Applications：
