What is Carbohydrazide CHD?
Carbohydrazide is a derivative of hydrazine and is often used as a versatile reagent in organic synthesis and industrial processes. It is highly soluble in water and has a relatively low toxicity, making it suitable for a range of applications.
The primary function of carbohydrazide is as an oxygen scavenger and corrosion inhibitor in water treatment systems. CHD reacts with dissolved oxygen in water to form harmless nitrogen gas and water, thus preventing corrosion of metal surfaces.
Applications of CHD Powder：
