Vapor Degreasing
This is TCE's main use. Heat trichloroethylene liquid in a special tank to make steam. The steam covers metal parts, turns into liquid, and washes away heavy oil and grease. Clean parts come out dry, ready for painting, plating or assembly.
Metal Finishing and Cold Cleaning
Metal needs full cleaning before painting, coating or welding. 99% TCE Trichloroethylene removes oil and dirt by wiping, soaking or spraying. It helps coatings stick well, widely used in aerospace and car manufacturing.
Extraction and Chemical Synthesis
Now limited by rules, TCE chemical once extracted fat from plant oil and caffeine from coffee. It also helps make refrigerants and other chemical materials.
