Vitamin C Properties
Insoluble in benzene, ether and chloroform, insoluble in water, ethanol. 2% water-soluble pH value of 6.5-8.0. relatively stable in dry air and moisture absorption and aqueous solution will slowly oxidize and decompose, especially in neutral or alkaline solution will slowly oxidize and decompose.
Vitamin C Usage
It can be used as nutritional fortifier for food, and also can be used as color protectant and antioxidant. It has the same function as ascorbic acid.
