Indications of Cattle Ampicillin Sodium for Injection
Respiratory tract infections in cattle: e.g. pneumonia, bronchitis, etc.
Digestive tract infections: bacterial enteritis, diarrhea, etc.
Urinary tract infections: cystitis, pyelonephritis, etc.
Skin and soft tissue infections: abscesses, trauma infections caused by staphylococci, streptococci, etc.
Usage and dosage
Calculate according to ampicillin:
Intramuscular injection or intravenous injection: 10~20mg per 1kg body weight.
Use 23 times a day for 23 consecutive days, and extend the course of treatment according to the condition if necessary.
Cautions
Contraindicated in cattle allergic to penicillin.
It is not suitable to be used in combination with other β-lactam antibiotics to avoid affecting the efficacy.
Before use, ensure that the powdered needle is fully dissolved and that the medication is administered in accordance with the recommended dosage.
After using this product, the rest period should be strictly observed to avoid residual antibiotics affecting the safety of milk and beef.
