Erucamide/Cis-13-Docosenoamide, a superior fatty acid amide, is a waxy odor-free solid refined from vegetable oil. It is insoluble in water and has a certain solubility in ketones, esters, alcohols, ethers, benzene and other organic solvents. It has a high melting point and good thermal stability. Non-toxic, non-corrosive. Erucamide powder is used as an opening agent for various polyethylene and polypropylene film packaging bags such as food and clothing, lubricants for various plastic products, release agents and stabilizers for PP production.
