Poly(methyl hydrogen siloxane) is a colourless transparent liquid which is insoluble in water and has good thermal stability and chemical activity. It can be added with alkenes under platinum catalysis, and is widely used in waterproofing, mould releasing, electronic materials, etc. It needs to pay attention to protection and ventilation when used.

- Waterproof field: Poly(methyl hydrogen siloxane) can form waterproof film on various material surfaces such as fabric, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, metal, cement, marble, etc.
