What is Ascorbyl Palmitate CAS 137-66-6 ?

Ascorbyl Palmitate, also known as L-Ascorbyl Palmitate,Ascorbic acid 6-palmitate,is a white or slightly yellow powder, slightly citrusy odor, insoluble in water and vegetable oil, easily soluble in ethanol (1 g / 45 ml), MP107 ~ 117ºC, with optical activity [α] 250+21 ~ 24°, can be stable in dry air.Oily food, edible oil, animal and vegetable oil and high-grade cosmetics, can also be used in a variety of infant food and milk powder, with antioxidant and nutritional strengthening functions.
