Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth and is thought to have anti-inflammatory effects. - Swine dysentery.
- Leptospirosis.
- Arthritis or joint infections.

Adverse reactions
(1)Intramuscular injection may cause pain, inflammation and necrosis at the injection site.
(2)Doxycycline has certain hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity, overdose can cause severe liver damage, lethal nephrotoxicity can be seen occasionally.
Precautions of Doxycycline for swine
(1)Doxycycline should be used with caution in animals with severe hepatic and renal impairment.
(2)Because this kind of drug is easy to cross the placenta and enter the milk, so it is forbidden to use in pregnant and lactating animals.
