What is Zinc Hydroxy Stannate ZHS Powder?
Zinc hydroxystannate is an inorganic compound. It is white crystalline powder. It is an odourless solid at room temperature, soluble in acids and bases. It can be used as an anti-mould agent to prevent the growth of moulds and fungi. Zinc hydroxy stannate is often used in wood preservation, conditioners and coatings. ZHS powder is also used as a catalyst and oxygen dehydrogenator in organic synthesis reactions.
