What is Zinc Borate?
Zinc borate is an inorganic compound, a borate of zinc. It is a white crystalline or amorphous powder insoluble in water, but amorphous powder soluble in HCl. It is used as an eco- friendly inorganic flame retardant. Boric acid zinc salt is mainly used as inorganic additives, non-toxic flame retardants, used in plastics, rubber, textile, coatings and other industries.
Applications：

Zinc borate is widely used as a flame retardant additive in plastics, rubber, and textiles. It works by releasing water when heated, which helps to cool the material and slow down the combustion process. It also forms a protective layer on the surface of the material.
