It has two amino groups and a hydroxyl functional group, and possesses both the basicity of amines and the hydrophilic nature of alcohols.Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) is a basic compound that undergoes acid-base neutralization reactions with acids.AEEA can form salts or coordination compounds that are capable of neutralizing reactions with acids and have the ability to buffer the pH of a solution.
Uses of Aminoethylethanolamine:
1.AEEA is used in shampoo, lubricant, oilfield buffer, resin synthesis, textile additive, imidazoline amphoteric surfactant, etc.
2. Used as plastic curing agent.
3.Aminoethylethanolamine is widely used for bonding various metallic and non-metallic parts, preparing anticorrosive epoxy coatings, casting cable joints and other electromechanical parts.
4.N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)ethylenediamine is mainly used as the raw material of cationic and zwitterionic surfactants; it can also be used as the curing agent of epoxy resin and the raw material of other fine chemical products.
