Properties of 2,2'-Azobis(2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile)
It is colorless or white rhombic flaky crystal. Flammable and explosive. There are two isomers, cis and trans, and its melting point is 55.5-57℃ and 74-76℃ respectively. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether and dimethyl formamide and other organic solvents.
Application
2,2'-Azobis(2,4-dimethylvaleronitrile) is widely used in the suspension polymerization of polyvinyl chloride, and can also be used as a
high-efficiency initiator for polymer synthetic materials such as polyacrylonitrile, polyvinyl alcohol, and plexiglass. It can also be used as a foaming agent for rubber and plastics.

25kg drum. It should be stored in dry, normal room temperature condition and no direct sunshine.
