N-Methyl-4-nitrophthalimide is light yellow to yellow crystalline powder; 4-Nitro-N-methylphthalimide has some solubility in some organic solvents, such as ethanol, dimethyl sulfoxide and dimethylformamide, but is insoluble in water. It is often used as an amino-protective reagent in organic synthesis, and Methylnitrophthalimide can react with amino compounds to produce amino-protective derivatives soluble in organic solvents.
Uses of 2-Methyl-5-Nitroisoindoline-1,3-Dione：
1. 2-Methyl-5-Nitroisoindoline-1,3-Dione is an intermediate in organic synthesis, and can be used to construct a variety of nitrogen-containing organic compounds. Commonly used in drug synthesis, pesticide synthesis and the preparation of fine chemicals and other fields.
