Applications
1. As a polymer monomer and additive
MMA Monomer Liquid is widely used in the manufacture of PMMA, coatings, lubricant additives, plastics, and adhesives.
It is also suitable for resins, wood wetting agents, motor coil penetrants, ion exchange resins, paper polishing agents, textile printing and dyeing additives, and leather treatment agents.
2. Production of other acrylates (transesterification)
Can be used to synthesize other acrylate products. Common methods for producing acrylates include direct esterification of alkyds, acyl chloride esterification, and transesterification.
