What is Propionic acid solution CAS 79-09-4?
Propionic acid is an important chemical raw material. Propionic acid and its derivatives are widely used in the synthesis of tree esters, grain preservation, food and feed additives, spices. It is a clear, colorless liquid that boils at 140°C (284 OF). It is flammable. It has a pungent odor and is soluble in water and alcohol. The Odor Threshold is 0.16 ppm.

1.Propionic acid is mainly used as food preservatives and antifungal agents.
