CAS 141-43-5 Industrial grade Ethanolamine is a colorless, ammoniated, hygroscopic viscous liquid with a boiling point of 170 ºC, easily soluble in water. Melting point 10 to 11 ºC; easy to combine with carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and other acidic gases at room temperature, easy to release acidic gases when heated, so its aqueous solution is often used in gas purification.
Application of Monoethanolamine:
1. Used as chemical reagents, medicine, pesticides, solvents, dye intermediates, corrosion inhibitors and surfactants;
2. Used as gas chromatography fixative and solvent, plasticizer, rubber vulcanization, emulsifier, printing and dyeing whitening agent, fabric mothproof agent;
3. Used to remove the acid gas in natural gas and petroleum gas, the manufacture of nonionic detergents.
