Glacial Acetic Acid 99.85% GAA Liquid is one of the most important organic acids, It is colorless and transparent liquid, solidified into ice-like crystal at low temperature. It has a pungent smell. Can be miscible with water, ethanol, ether and carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, insoluble in carbon disulfide. Acetic acid liquid mainly used in ethyl acetate, acetic anhydride, acetate fiber, also used as a solvent and raw material in pesticide, pharmaceutical and dye industries. It is widely used in the manufacture of photographic drugs, fabric dyeing and printing and the rubber industry.
Applications:
- Technical Grade: Glacial acetic acid is mainly used in manufacturing of vinyl acetate, acetic anhydride, diketen, acetate, ethyl cellulose and chloro acetic acid. GAA can also be used in the field of synthetic fiber,binding agent,pharmacy,fertilizer and dyeing raw material and in the field of plastic, rubber and printing as soluant.
