Property: Colorless transparent liquid
soluble in most organic solvent, slightly soluble in oils. Triethyl Citrate TEC is innocuous plasticizer.
Triethyl Citrate TEC is a non-toxic plasticizer with high solubility and good compatibility with many resins, widely used as plasticizer for vinyl resin and cellulose resin. The products plasticized with it have good oil resistance, light resistance and mildew resistance.
It is suitable for non-toxic PVC granulation, printing inks, coatings, children's soft toys, medical products, flavors and fragrances and other industries.
Plasticizer Tec Triethyl Citrate uses:
1.TEC is a plasticizer which is widely used as a plasticizer for cellulose resin and vinyl resin. As a food safety leavening agent it can well improve the foaming performance of baked goods and improve the swelling and loosening state. As an antioxidant it is used to stabilize edible fats and oils such as soybean oil, salad oil, margarine and shortening.
2.As a flavor enhancer it can be used to enhance the aroma of soft drinks, cold beverages, confectionery, baked goods, and as a chelating agent and carrier solvent.
3.TEC is also used in ink coating, non-toxic PVC granulation, pharmaceutical industry, children's soft toys, medical products, flavor and fragrance blending, cosmetics and manufacturing.
