What is Isopropyl Laurate (IPL)?
Isopropyl laurate is an organic compound. It is a colorless liquid with a special fragrance, soluble in alcohols, ethers and lipid solvents. It can be used as a component of flavors and fragrances; it can also be used as a solvent in paints, inks, detergents and other fields.
Applications of Isopropyl Dodecanoate:
1.Cosmetics Industry: IPL has moisturizing, emollient, emulsifying and surfactant properties, and can be used in the preparation of lotions, facial cosmetics, soaps and shampoos.
2.Lubricant Industry: Isopropyl laurate can be used as a lubricant in lamination processing and food packaging production.
