Products Description
Magnesium Aluminum Silicate is a naturally occurring mineral obtained from silicate ores of the montmorillonite group 1. It is refined to a powder for use in cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications as an absorbent, anticaking agent, opacifying agent, viscosity-increasing agent, suspending agent, tablet and capsule disintegrant, and tablet binder. It also has antacid properties.
Applications:
1. In the field of personal care and cosmetics: as emulsion stabilizer, suspending agent and thickener, used in creams, lotions, shampoos, toothpastes and other products.
2. Pharmaceutical field: magnesium aluminum silicate can be used as disintegrating agent of tablets, which can make tablets disintegrate quickly in the body; it can also be used as suspending agent of drugs, which can be used to suspend drug particles and ensure uniform dispersion and stabilization of drugs.
3. Other fields: Magnesium Aluminosilicate is used as suspending agent and stabilizer in pesticide to improve the stability and suspension performance of pesticide; used as thickening agent and suspending agent in polish and lubricant to improve the performance of the product; used as thickening agent, suspending agent and thixotropic agent in coatings and paints to improve the stability, rheology and coating performance of the coatings; it can be used in the fields of lithium batteries and engineering plastics.
