Products Description
Guanidinium carbonate, white crystalline powder. Melting point 1 98ºC. Relative density 1.25. pH 11.2 for 4% aqueous solution at 25 °C. Solubility at 20 °C in the following solutions: lOOg, 42 g/lOOg water, 0.55 /lOOg. Practically insoluble in benzene and ether. Its aqueous solution is slowly hydrolyzed above 0ºC, releasing gases and forming urea.
Application of White Crystalline Powder Guanidine Carbonate
1.Used as a precipitant in the weight determination of zinc, and manganese, as well as for the separation and organic synthesis of magnesium in alkali metals
2.Used for organic synthesis, can produce antioxidants, resin stabilizers, pH regulators for amino resins, etc
