Epoxidized soya bean oil is a compound obtained by epoxidation of soybean oil, which has a wide range of applications in many fields. It is light yellow viscous oily liquid at room temperature. It is soluble in benzene, cyclohexane, acetone, ethyl acetate and other organic solvents, partially soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water.
Applications：
- Plasticiser: Epoxidized soya bean oil is a kind of epoxy plasticiser developed and applied earlier at home and abroad, with very low toxicity, and is allowed to be used in packaging materials for food and medicine by many countries.
- Heat stabiliser: In PVC resin processing, It not only has plasticizing effect on PVC, but also can slow down the degradation of PVC. It is often used in combination with metal salt stabilisers to create a synergistic effect and improve thermal stability.
