Mono ethanol amine (MEA) is used as chemical reagent, pesticide, medicine, solvent, dye intermediate, rubber accelerator, corrosion inhibitor and surfactant, and also used as acid gas absorber, emulsifier, plasticizer, rubber vulcanization agent.
