What is Propylene Carbonate (PC)?
Propylene Carbonate is a colorless, transparent liquid with a peculiar odor; it is soluble in many solvents; it is a flammable liquid and can form flammable mixtures with air. Widely used in polymer industry, PC can be used as an important raw material for polycarbonate resin, used in the preparation of plastic products, optical films, coatings and adhesives. It can also be used as plasticizer, lubricant and antistatic agent.
