What is Propoxylated Bisphenol A/BPA-2PO?

Propoxylated Bisphenol A is a colorless to light yellow liquid, insoluble in water but soluble in many organic solvents. BPAPO has good heat resistance, chemical stability and electrical insulation. Widely used in industrial fields, it has good lubricating properties and viscosity-reducing properties, commonly used as lubricants, dispersants and anti-adhesives;  can also be used in the synthesis of polyurethane, polyester and other polymer materials, applied to plastics, coatings, adhesives and other industries.

Uses:

1. Propoxylated Bisphenol A can be used to synthesize epoxy resin, propoxylated bisphenol A can introduce flexible propoxylated chain segment to improve the flexibility, impact resistance and processing performance of epoxy resin. It is widely used in coatings, adhesives, composites and so on.
2. Used in the synthesis of polyurethane elastomer, foam, etc.. It can adjust the hardness, elasticity, heat resistance and other properties of polyurethane materials to meet the needs of different application scenarios.
3. In coating formulations, BPAPO can be used as active diluent or functional monomer, commonly used in industrial coatings, architectural coatings and other fields.
