Lauryl Acrylate(LA) is a long - chain alkyl acrylate. Its polymers possess a relatively low glass - transition temperature, along with excellent water - resistance and lipophilicity. It can be utilized in various fields such as petroleum additives, oil - absorbent resins, coatings, adhesives, inks and the synthesis of amphoteric surfactants.
Uses：
- Polymers and Plastics: Lauryl acrylate is widely used as a monomer in the polymerization reaction to produce various polymers and plastics.
- Coatings and Paints: Lauryl acrylate is used in coatings and paints to enhance the film-forming properties, flexibility and durability of the coating.
