- Synthetic epoxy resin: Epichlorohydrin is the main raw material for the production of epoxy resin.
- Surfactant: ECH can be used as raw material to synthesise a variety of surfactants, such as polyether-type surfactants, which are widely used in detergents, emulsifiers, defoamers and other products.
- Pharmaceutical field: Epichlorohydrin liquid is an important raw material for the synthesis of some drug intermediates, such as for the synthesis of glycerol derivatives and other drug intermediates, and then used in the production of a variety of drugs.
- Other applications: ECH is used as a raw material for flocculants in water treatment, used in the paper industry for the synthesis of paper reinforcing agents, but also used in the synthesis of ion exchange resins and so on.
