New Indocyanine Green is an organic dye with the appearance of a dark green powder. The main use is as a dye in biochemistry and clinical laboratories. It can be synthesized by reacting indocyanine with methylene blue, and then adding triphenyl bismuth(III) chloride to prepare new indocyanine green.
Uses：
1. New Indocyanine Green is a highly efficient, low cost and low cytotoxicity imaging agent for tumor imaging that can be detected in skin cells, chitosan quaternary and subcutaneous tumors by fluorescence imaging, and as an infrared blood pool contrast agent for the detection and quantification of diseased tissue in living animals.
2. It can be used for image-guided photothermal treatment of cancer, where heat can be generated under near-infrared light irradiation to destroy tumor cells.
