Methyltris(Methylethylketoxime)Silane is an organosilicon compound. It is a colourless to pale yellow liquid. It is soluble in many organic solvents such as alcohols, ethers and ketones.

 

Applications of Methyltris(Methylethylketoxime)Silane：

• As a cross-linker: It is the main curing and cross-linking agent in deketoxime room temperature vulcanised silicone rubber (RTV-1) sealants, either alone or in combination with other oxime-based silanes. It can also be used to improve the bond strength of sealants to substrates such as plastics, nylon, ceramics and aluminium.
• For the preparation of environmentally friendly silicone adhesives: the released butanone oxime has low physiological toxicity and is suitable for the preparation of environmentally friendly RTV-1 silicone adhesives in contact with humans.
