What is N,N'-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine?
N,N'-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine is a colorless liquid that can be dissolved in water, alcohol and ether solvents; it is relatively stable at room temperature, it is strongly alkaline and will decompose when encountered with acid, generating toxic gases. Mainly used in the production of dyes, D213 ion exchange resin can also be used as epoxy resin curing agent and accelerator, additives, plastic antistatic agent.
Uses：
1.N,N'-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine is an important raw material for synthesizing pesticides and surfactants. It reacts with methyl cocoate, methyl oleate and methyl stearate to produce corresponding alkylamides and propyl betaines, which are widely used in the manufacture of civilian cleaners and textile softeners.
2.It is used in the production of cosmetics such as shampoos, bath products and other daily chemical products.
3.Dimethyl-1 3-Propanediamine can be used to make textile treatment agents and paper treatment agents.
4.It is used as an additive in the electroplating industry.
5.It has the functions of both epoxy resin curing agent and accelerator, mainly used in laminates and casting products.
