Dimethylacetamide, full name is N,N-dimethylacetamide, abbreviated as DMAC or DMA. It is a commonly used aprotic polar solvent. DMACis a colorless and transparent liquid, flammable, has the characteristics of high thermal stability, low corrosivity, and low toxicity. It is miscible with water, alcohols, ethers, esters, benzene, chloroform, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many other organic solvents. It is widely used in the pharmaceutical, heat-resistant synthetic fiber, plastic film, acrylonitrile spinning, petroleum processing, and organic pigment industries.
