PIB950 is a chemically stable, non-volatile liquid. There is no residue after high temperature volatilization and thermal decomposition. It has excellent thermal oxidation properties and good hydrophobicity.
Applications of Polyisobutylene PIB950
PIB950 is mainly used in petroleum additives and adhesives. It is used in the manufacture of pressure sensitive adhesives and sealants. It can also be used as a thickener to improve adhesion, flexibility, aging resistance, airtightness and electrical insulation when used in combination with other materials. It is also used in the manufacture of wires and cables, plasticizers, etc.
