Tolytriazole sodium salt is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in water and some organic solvents. It is stable under neutral or weakly alkaline conditions, but easily decomposes under acidic conditions.TTAS is mainly used as a common medium additive, which is often used in cell culture, bacterial culture and yeast culture in bioscience research.
Uses:
1. Tolytriazole sodium salt is an effective corrosion inhibitor for copper and copper alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, nickel, cadmium and nickel alloys, etc. It can be used in products such as vapor-phase corrosion inhibitors, antirust oils, lubricants, circulating water treatments, and automobile antifreeze, etc. to prevent metal corrosion.
2. Used in cosmetics, detergents, personal care products, etc., to play the role of anti-mold and anti-corrosion.
3. TTAS can be used as anti-mold agent in papermaking process to prevent paper from mildew and deterioration.
4. As a stabilizer to prevent the deterioration of ink and water-based dyes.
